Thanks SarahKong, but I want to do it for ane computer, not every computer on the network.
You said originally that you want to practise it for "several thousand" computers. At whatsoever rate, domain, Enterprise and Windows Server issues aren't supported hither. You demand the Microsoft Technet forums.

Printing Windows key + R
Blazon control printers
Hit Enter
Right click printer, select Properties.
Go to Advanced tab.
Click Printing Defaults button.
Alter the settings.

Sorry for being unclear there. I meant there are several m users, and if one of them logs into that one workstation the printer needs to the default.

Press Windows key + R
Type command printers
Hitting EnterRight click printer, select Backdrop.
Get to Advanced tab.
Click Printing Defaults push.
Change the settings.
